My yoga journey began in high school as a way to complement psychotherapy and my other forms of movement. My interest quickly deepened as I experienced yoga's emotional and physical benefits firsthand. This led me to complete trauma-informed yoga training through Connection Coalition in 2017, followed by my 200-hour yoga teacher training through the Online Yoga & Ayurveda Center in 2023. My curiosity is ever-evolving, and I also hold certifications in Yoga Nidra and Level I Usui/Holy Fire Reiki.
As a licensed independent clinical social worker, I bring a trauma-informed understanding of mindfulness, embodiment, and nervous system awareness to my teaching. My style is grounded, warm, playful, and accessible. Guided by curiosity and rooted in connection, I aim to create affirming spaces where students can listen to their bodies, explore what they need, and make the practice their own.
When I'm not working or practicing yoga, I can often be found exploring Seattle, enjoying the outdoors with a coffee in hand, or catching up on my never-ending reading as a doctoral student in clinical social work.
