I began my yoga journey over 20 years ago and have practiced across the US, Asia, and Europe. Like many yogis, I first tried yoga as a way to recover from injury but found it had so much to offer beyond stretching. When I went to India to do my 500-hour yoga teacher training, I was expecting to learn more advanced postures and never intended to become an instructor. Instead, I found a transformative, spiritual experience that connected me with my Indian roots. I discovered that I loved teaching and felt compelled to share this holistic version of the practice with others, contrary to the more exercise-based practice I had experienced for most of my life.
I teach vinyasa, hatha, guided meditation, and pranayama (breathwork). I love teaching all levels, from true beginners to advanced students and mixed level classes. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, travel, teaching politics, combatting money laundering, and preventing terrorists from stealing nuclear weapons.
