My yoga journey began in middle school spurred by a meander through my hometown library DVD section. I picked up an ashtanga style practice with Nicki Doane and was absorbed with the chanted opening, deep breath movements and incredibly beautiful ways she moved her body. It gave me stability, consistency and self-accountability I needed at the time (and always do). My practice of course shifted over the years, but remained steady. In moving to Seattle, I set the intention to build community here through a Vinyasa teacher training and extensions program at core power yoga - and most recently completed a Yin training (Leah Adams). My hope is to create a safe, healing space for students to connect, play and practice. Leading strong and accessible flows allow for the abundance of love to pour not only into ourselves, but also into the community of yoga.
