Feeling stiff, stressed, or stuck in your teaching (or your body)? This weekend training is for yoga teachers, curious movers, and anyone who wants more than just “open your hips and breathe.”
Join Elena Cheung and Mind.Body.Hum for an 18-hour Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) Teacher Training designed to help you teach and move in a way that actually supports the nervous system, fascia, and real-life bodies.
Over three immersive days, you’ll learn fascia-informed self-massage techniques, how to sequence SMR into classes with purpose, and how to teach this work in a way that feels intelligent, grounded, and deeply embodied. It’s equal parts science, sensation, and learning to hold space differently for yourself and others.
Open to yoga teachers, movement professionals, and body nerds of all kinds. Expect a clear breakdown of fascia and nervous system function, a full toolkit of SMR techniques, and time to actually feel what this work does. CEUs available through Yoga Alliance.
Schedule: March 6 - 8, 2026 (18 hours total)
- Friday 1:15 - 5:15p
- Saturday 9:15 - 11:45a, 1 - 4:30p
- Sunday 9:15 - 11:45a, 1 - 6:30p
All days include asana practice, lunch breaks, and smaller breaks.
Props: Myofascial release balls & blocks, all of which are provided for use during the training by Mind.Body.Hum. You may also buy your own set of myofascial balls at the studio or beforehand.
